Forged Steel Work Roll for Cold Rolling

These are precision forged steel cold rolling work rolls, core critical components specially designed for cold rolling mill lines. Manufactured via integral heavy forging, advanced heat treatment and high-precision finish grinding, they are in direct contact with steel strip during cold forming operations.

Key Technical & Structural Advantages
  1. Premium Forged Base Material

Monolithic alloy steel forging eliminates internal porosity, shrinkage cavities and casting defects. The compact, continuous grain flow delivers far higher structural integrity than cast rolls.

  2. Exceptional Cold Rolling Performance

    • High, uniform surface hardness and excellent deep hardenability

    • Superior wear resistance, anti-chipping and anti-fatigue performance

    • Excellent dimensional stability under high rolling pressure

    • Guaranteed smooth, high-quality surface finish for cold rolled steel sheets/strips

  3. Customized Engineering Support

    • Available grades: 9Cr2Mo, Cr5, high carbon high chromium alloy steel, etc.

    • Fully customizable roll diameter, barrel length, total overall dimension and shaft end configuration

    • Tailored hardness range & hardness penetration depth to match different cold rolling process loads

  4. Rigorous Quality Assurance

Strict full-process inspection including UT/MT non-destructive testing, hardness testing, roundness & runout precision inspection, to ensure consistent, long service life and minimize downtime for your mill.
